Portviini on portugalilainen vahva ja makea viini, vahvuus on yleensä
n. 20%.
Sitä käytetään erityisesti jälkiruokajuomana ja usein
yhdessä juuston tai tumman suklaan kanssa.
Portviini on saanut nimensä Porton kaupungista.
Suomessa portviini on yhä aika huonosti tunnettu, tämä sivuston tarkoitus on lisätä portviinin tunnettavuuta ja arvostusta.
Laadukkaat portviinit ovat mm. Graham, Taylor, Dow, Sandeman, Croft, Osborne, Cockburn, Warre, Fonseca, Quinta do Noval ja Niepoort.
